I am Antonio Romero Acorn-Fed Iberian Ham, a culinary gem and a true treasure of Spanish cuisine. My uniqueness lies in my delicious acorn-based diet and artisanal craftsmanship, making me an unparalleled gastronomic experience. I have spent over three years in the mystical cellars of Salamanca, where I have matured leisurely, caressed by the region's perfect climate. The blend of temperature and dry air has gifted me with an exceptional flavor, full of nuances that melt into ecstasy in your mouth.

However, my charm is not limited to my diet and curing process. The Iberian pig is a unique species in the Iberian Peninsula, and its meat stands out from other animals due to its exceptional ability to infiltrate fat into the muscle. This makes me irresistibly juicy and tender.

My exquisite "pure ham" flavor goes by the name of umami, a fifth taste that literally means delicious, and which only manifests when glutamic acid and ribonucleic acid harmoniously come together. Their fusion enhances flavors and creates a sensory explosion on our palate. Take care of me

To store me in the right place, you must keep in mind that I should be kept in a cool, dry location and avoid any exposure to sunlight.

Once I've been started, it's crucial to shield me from the air. You see, the air tends to eliminate the moisture from my surface, taking away my juiciness. It can even cause oxidation, altering the flavor of my first slices. It's not a pleasant experience, let me tell you. To protect me properly, you should cover my surface with thin slices of white fat and then wrap me snugly with plastic. That way, I can stay fresh and delicious for longer.

 

What I am made of

Speaking of ingredients, you'll be happy to know that I am completely gluten-free. My mouthwatering taste comes from pork ham, sodium chloride, sugar, antioxidant (E-301), and preservatives (E-250 and E-252).

I weight around 7-9kg.

 

SERVING RECOMMENDATION
